LG Electronics has recently declared its successive launch of its new line of Cinema 3D TV in Africa and Middle East. The inauguration has taken place at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi’s Island witnessing a throng of 3,500 guest including media groups and Hollywood actress Megan Fox invited for cutting the ribbon.
Commenting at the launch, K W Kim, LG Electronics MEA President, “LG is opening a new chapter in the development of world TV by bringing Cinema 3D to consumers in the region. It represents the absolute pinnacle of 3D TV entertainment using the very best of recent innovative technology from LG.”
The South Korean electronics giant wants to capture the untapped market of Africa and Middle East considering that the consumers across these regions have complete potential to be tuned with the next-generation technology of LG.
According to Kim, LG’s new Cinema 3D TV is certified ‘flicker-free’ by two world-renowned Germany-based technology testing agencies Intertek and TÜV.” He also said, “The end result is a superior product that is sure to place us at the very forefront of TV markets around the world.”
The new LG Cinema 3D TV is composed of FPR (film-type patterned retarder) 3D technology that is enabled to enhance the overall viewing experience. The 3D offering of FPR technology is flicker-free image with no crosstalk and retention, on the other hand, the clarity and brightness of the image is of superior quality. Unlike the shutter glasses, the 3D glasses of LG Cinema 3D TV is free from inbuilt rechargeable batteries and other electronic parts, which make the users liberated from the hazardous electromagnetic waves that could cause health issues. On the contrary, some other technological benefits of FPR technology are, such as, the viewers can enjoy a wide viewing angle of 1780 with no color or quality change, and the glasses are very light in weight, comfortable and very less expensive.
LG’s new Cinema 3D TV boosts all the features of LG’s Smart TV allowing access to media contents, Internet and other facilities. LG’s Home Dashboard provides an easy interface to access content, while LG’s Magic Motion remote control lets users locate exactly what they want to watch with just a couple of clicks on its mouse-like controls.
“LG’s Cinema 3D TV is effectively the most complete television available in the market today for TV viewing, gaming and online connectivity. It opens up a whole new world of content to consumers,” concluded Kim.

no, it is impossible because Samsung cinema 3D TVs are available in the market with smart features like New Dimension with 3D Blu-ray,Infinite entertainment with Internet@TV,Connect your iPod and iPhone for more fun,Smart Volume levels things out, HDMI® (V.1.4 with 3D), Transcendent sound with Crystal Amp Pro, Wireless Rear Speakers as well.
Buddy,it is a matter of happiness to read the features which you mentioned. They sound good but let me inform you something about LG which has redefined 3D viewing, yet again.LG has come with wonderful FPR (Film-type patterned retarder) which is awesome in giving brighter and clearer high-definition picture.
Not just this, regular 2D viewing has become more fantastic owing to its built-in Free view HD which makes 2D much better- up to five times the picture quality of standard-definition.
Further, LG cinema 3D uses this FPR technology which optimizes the images according to left and right eye. This gels up wonderfully with the feather-like battery-less LG 3D glasses creating an outstanding smooth picture. It is just 16 grams in weight-almost half the weight of conventional Samsung 3D glasses. So you do not worry about recharging. It gives a wide viewing angle, so you are free from the hassle of adjusting your sofa every time. It uses the same frame technology which Sky 3D uses.LG’s Cinema 3D is similar to the 3D you see in cinemas. It is awesome for gaming owing to its wonderful capabilities of ultra-modern games consoles.
It is really to check out LG this time around.
Thanks.
LG is creating waves by its FPR (Film-type patterned retarder) technology. As of now no company has been this successful.Who knows about future? But one this is damn sure that LG is just going to improvise itself as it is already one technology ahead of its peers.
Thanks
